Rooms & Prices
The rooms at the Priesterhausgasse 6 student residence are carefully furnished and range from 10 to 33 m². Depending on the room category, you can choose between single rooms and places in twin rooms.
The twin rooms each have their own private shower and toilet. The single rooms are available with different facilities: some rooms have a shower and toilet directly in the room, while others have their own washbasin; in these cases, the bathroom and toilet are shared with up to four other rooms.
Each room also has its own refrigerator as well as an internet and TV connection. Two shared kitchens are available for preparing meals and everyday use.
There is also a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers, which all residents can use for a small additional fee.
Location
Priesterhausgasse 6 is located right in the historic city centre of Salzburg, at the foot of Kapuzinerberg and close to Linzer Gasse. The central location is a major advantage for students who value short distances between their residence, university, shops, and leisure activities.
The University of Salzburg is just a few minutes' walk away. Other university and higher education locations can also be easily reached thanks to the central location and good public transport connections. Stops for numerous bus lines are only about a three-minute walk from the student residence.
The location also makes everyday life convenient: restaurants, bars, cafés, and shops are all close by. At the same time, the historic Old Town and numerous sights are practically right on your doorstep.

Leisure Activities
In addition to your own room, the Schwarze Rössl offers various opportunities to spend time with other students and actively participate in community life.
The traditionally Salzburg-style entrance area with its cosy seating areas invites residents to relax and socialise. The large common room provides a space to meet other residents, play games together, or watch TV.
The two shared kitchens offer plenty of space for cooking together and enjoying relaxed evenings. A dedicated party room is also available for larger celebrations and events.
Reflecting its location in the city of Mozart, the residence also has a music room where residents can play music. Bicycle storage facilities are available as well.
