The student residence at Domgasse 3 is located right in the heart of Linz, just a few steps from Linz's main square. The Ignatiushaus, run by the Jesuits, offers a total of 10 modern single rooms across three floors, combining a central location, individual living, and a vibrant student community.
The living units have a shared-apartment (WG) concept and have been gradually renovated since 2017. Akademikerhilfe has been managing the residence since 2019, providing students with a pleasant environment for living, studying, and spending time together.
A particular advantage is the combination of your own room with a private bathroom, shared communal areas, and a central location. This allows you to enjoy your privacy while also making it easy to connect with other students.

The student residence at Domgasse 3 offers 10 furnished single rooms on the second, third, and fourth floors. The rooms are bright and modern and provide everything you need for everyday student life.

The rooms range in size from 21 to 24 m², with some rooms measuring 27 m². This provides plenty of space for living, studying, and relaxing.
Residents also have access to shared kitchens. The second floor has its own shared kitchen, while the third and fourth floors share a larger communal kitchen and a comfortable common room.
The residence also has laundry rooms with washing machines and dryers. A lift provides access to all floors.
Location
Domgasse 3 is one of the centrally located student residences in Linz. Linz’s main square is just a few steps away, putting shops, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, and other everyday amenities right on your doorstep.
Several higher-education institutions are also easily accessible from the residence.
The University of Arts and Industrial Design Linz (Kunstuniversität Linz) is within walking distance. The University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions and Anton Bruckner Private University can be conveniently reached by public transport.
For students at Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU), the location also offers excellent connections: you can reach JKU by tram in approximately 20 minutes.
Tram and bus stops are located close to the residence.
