Studying with an outlook! Akademikerhilfe's flagship student residence at Pfeilgasse 3a, also known as Pfeilheim, opened its doors to young people in academic education in October 2022 after two years of all-round renovation.
450 brand-new single rooms, all with bathroom/WC and a mini kitchen, have been available for living since then.
From the roof terrace (and from some other rooms) you can see how close St. Stephen's Cathedral is, look at Kahlenberg and the Vienna Woods, and in good weather also at Schneeberg and Rax - living in the 8th district with a great view!

Rooms & Prices
Every single room unit consists of an anteroom with a built-in cupboard and each room has its own bathroom/toilet. The sleeping- and living area with its own mini kitchen completes the "Pfeilheim feel-good feeling".
The mini kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a two-burner ceramic hob, a sink and a refrigerator. Most single room-garçonnières have a room size of 12 -14 m², some rooms even have their own balcony. There are also rooms which are designed in a room association, which means that two single rooms share a bathroom/toilet and kitchen.
The dorm has a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers, which can be used by all residents for a small charge.

Leisure Activities
Life in a student residence offers an ideal opportunity to meet new people, especially for students who are new to Vienna. Whether cooking together in the cosy communal kitchens or holding a table football tournament in the large communal room. There is something for everyone:
