Since October 2018 Akademikerhilfe operates this former monastary as a student residence. The impressive building dates from the end of the 19th century and is conveniently located in the Innsbruck city centre and within easy reach of most universities.
After an all-round renovation of the building, the student residence Maximilianstrasse 8 is ready for the next "generation of students".
Rooms & Prices
Despite its central location, Haus Maximilianstraße 8 offers around 100 quiet single rooms for students - the ideal retreat for living, but above all for studying.
The single rooms have been refurbished and are equipped with their own bathroom/WC and kitchenette. The room units are fully furnished, have WLAN and range in size from about 16m² to more than 19m². Few room units have a loggia.
Residents have access to communal areas, which are also equipped with WLAN.
Location
Universities may be reached within 5 minutes. A supermarket, banks, pharmacy and other shops are within easy reach. Night owls will enjoy the nice bars in Innsbruck's centre and sports fans will choose the nearby Innpromenade to jog or skate.
Public transport facilities within Innsbruck as well as to the nearby skiing and hiking regions are nearby.

The common kitchen is well equipped and offers enough space to cook and eat and talk. A comfortable common room is a nice meeting point after a long day at the university.
