Student Residence Am Gießen

The residence Am Gießen used to be an girls' boarding school run by the Ursulines in Innsbruck, and is now run by Akademikerhilfe as a student residence.



It particularly boasts bright, friendly rooms. All rooms are south-facing and some even have their own balcony. The building also has many communal rooms for cooking, learning or chatting together and is just a short walk away from the centre and from the universities. Barrier-free rooms are available in the residence.

Rooms & Prices

Fully furnished single rooms measuring between 10 and 16m² are available to the students in the home. The rooms are all south-facing, making them bright and sunny. Some rooms even have their own balcony. The spacious communal kitchen with balcony is the best place to meet other residents and cook together.

The building also has a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers, which can be used by all the residents for a small charge. Internet and TV connections can naturally also be found in every room.
